Each lady took at least 3 new items for their wardrobe home with them. Let us know if you would like to attend this themed swish in the future and a huge thankyou to the lovely ladies at Pampered Chef for providing us with some yummy treats and beautiful cookware anyone of us could be a chef in the making:)

    JANUARY 2012

    Tuesday 10th January 2012 6-9pm

33 ladies kicked off their year with a wardrobe clearout! It was all about the fashion without businesses attending this one. Ladies had confidently parted with items they love but simply don’t wear and this quality was evident when all women took a high number of items each (6-10) leaving our fresh stock almost depleted. Fabulous and a great warm-up to the year of swishing ahead. Next one in March, see you there!

How many of us truly know our colours and how many of us truly appreciate the benefit of this. Recently I met a lady who is renowned for wearing bright colours and she admitted to having a wardrobe full of bright spring like colours. Only to be told by an international make-up artist that she should be wearing warm tones – autumnal in hue! This lady is now a perfect candidate for swishing as the comment was life changing – when holding these autumnal shades up to her complexion she radiated, her eyes sparkled, they were extremely complimenting!

As well as swishing I now apply make-up to women three days a week and colour matching is vital to achieve a stunning outcome. Of course we can invest in a colour analysis but at the very least when choosing shades of clothing, accessories and make-up and even hair colour – hold the shade up to your face and appreciate what the mirror reflects back at you – do they dull your complexion or do they give you vitality. The right shades are then money well spent:)
