One of Val’s tips for the season is looking for nude, please don’t blush she refers to the colour of nude. In fact may I just brag that I have invested in a nude piece, a wrap cardigan which I wear while typing, what a fashionista:)

It is a surprisingly flattering shade especially when contrasted with black, very classic yet strikingly feminine.

Our events initially had women thinking that it would be full of unfashionable cast-offs but , we have discovered quite the opposite. Women have felt comfortable to bring items that they love yet simply don’t wear. Val will showcase pieces that fit the current seasons to offer you a great visual at each event. This proved really successful at our last event in Caistor Hall where we jam-packed their Garden Room with fashion, it truly looked like a shop & almost all of Val’s showcased items went.

We tried another layout option for the clothing pieces whereby we put all skirts together, shirts together, jackets together etc,. Normally we display in size order but so many items were being left undiscovered. By now I’m sure you all have experienced the moment where you question ‘what size am I?’ I can be a size 10 in one shop, a 12 in most & occasionally a 14 in another shop. This new layout encouraged women to try things on & the smiles at the checkout showed how happy women were with their style revolution pieces!

The 2010 calender is in the making, watch this space!
